Ribb-bits!!

So, tomorrow (hopefully) we are off to market, to market...I mean, to Lullabyes to Lullabyes...to sell a few shoes. Here are the first three finished products that I will be leaving on site.

Here's how it's going to work (I think):
  • The shoes will be special ordered, $10/pair.
  • Pre-pay only, non-refundable unless shoes are unavailable.
  • Select your shoe Color: Turqoise/white, Hot pink/white, Light pink/white, Purple, Hot pink, Light pink.
  • Select the Size: Girls 3-11
  • You can choose up to 3 different ribbons to decorate your Ribbits. (See ribbon photos below for colors.)
  • Ribbits are treated to be stain and fray resistant.
  • Ribbits are washing machine safe, air-dry is recommended.
  • All orders are subject to availability.
  • Please allow 5 weekdays for delivery.
  • I am more than willing to do long-distance orders, with an additional charge for shipping. These will be shipped after payment is received, so will obviously take longer for delivery.
Thanks for looking. Let me know if you (or anyone you know) would like to order!

Am I Crazy??

While on my "March to the Sea" (I'm in Sherman-mode this spring cleaning season) we've had a couple of yard sales. The Lord has blessed over and abundantly, much more than we could have ever anticipated. So, instead of carting things back to the attic I checked with my consignment store (Lullabyes) and yes, she needed girls' dresses. Well, I had those in spades (40+ to be exact, down from 80+ 3 weeks ago). So, I loaded up a tub and I moved to Beverly...not exactly, but close.

On my way out the door, I tossed my daughters' old, freshly laundered "crocs" (not the real things) into the tub of clothes. Last year I got a wild idea to decorate them with ribbons. They really did turn out cute, but I was shocked at the number of people who commented about them throughout the summer. The thought crossed my mind..."I wonder if I would be able to make and sell these through the consignment store. Hmmmm...wouldn't hurt to ask." So I did. And she said we could go on a 60-day trial period. So a Wal-Mart run was made.

And here we are. I'm calling them "Ribb-bits." (BITS of RIBBon? crocs > frogs?? humor me here. my creativity at midnight is a little lacking.) I don't know if I will sell 1 pair. But, it's worth a shot. So, I need to get "hoppin'" and get some made so I can drop them off at the store before this weekend.

Later, 'Gator!
